A Stamford-based non-profit providing classical and intercultural music education to children across Fairfield County. In their own words: Through the joy of music, INTEMPO helps children express themselves artistically and build skills that will serve them in every aspect of their lives.

One of Julian’s most endearing qualities was his constant singing — in the car, at the dinner table, or running around the house often times at the top of his lungs. He exuded a care-free, unabashed joy in song and would encourage others to join along. We imagine Julian would have been the loudest boy in the school choir beaming up on stage.

Intempo provides opportunities for children and families of lesser means to access music education from beginner levels to the most advanced. We have attended the seasonal concerts and seen the children perform with their parents smiling and cheering with pride. That’s the type of familial joy we strive to create to honor Julian.
